Screen orientation

I have this on my old ipad. I like how basic it is and fun for my kids. But now on my new ipad mini, I cant get it to switch between screen orientations. Its stuck in portrait, but I prefer landscape. Still goes back and forth on my old ipad one. This is annoying.
